How we rank
Ordering. Lists follow platform popularity: cumulative completed readings from the official platform snapshot (2026-09-02, covering Purple Garden and Kasamba). Advisors without popularity data — e.g. all Keen profiles — follow, ordered by composite score.
Composite score. Every advisor gets one score (0–10):
composite = 0.6 × ratingScore + 0.2 × volumeScore + 0.2 × activityScore
ratingScore — the platform rating, Bayesian-smoothed toward the directory
mean with a 25-review prior: (rating × reviews + mean × 25) ÷ (reviews + 25),
mapped 1★→0, 5★→10. A 5.0★ profile with three readings cannot outrun a 4.9★ profile with
tens of thousands.
volumeScore — review count, log-scaled 0–10 against the largest profile in the directory. Unknown counts get a neutral 4.0.
activityScore — freshness of the profile's last review: 10 (≤7 days), 8 (≤14), 6 (≤30), 4 (≤90), else 2. Unknown gets 5.0.
The composite score orders advisors without popularity data and powers the match quiz; the popularity ordering reflects what readers are choosing on the platforms right now.
Ranking lists also apply a platform-diversity rule: no platform may hold more than 2 consecutive positions.
What this site is — and isn't
- We synthesize public platform data into structured scores. We never reproduce review text verbatim or publish platform bios or photos as our own.
- Every advisor page links to a full editorial review — pros, cons, pricing, and who the advisor is right for. The directory is the index; the reviews are the substance.
- Outbound links to reading platforms may earn us a commission. Rankings are computed before any commercial consideration — the formula above has no slot for payouts.
- Readings are entertainment. Nothing here is medical, legal, or financial advice.

Platform data changes; scores update automatically. If a profile fact is wrong, contact hello@psychicwho.com and we will re-verify against the platform.
